Greetings, my name is Keaton Hollback, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself and share my journey in the world of motorsports with you. I’m a 17-year-old race car driver hailing from the vibrant city of Columbus, Ohio, and I’m on a quest to achieve greatness with your support.
Ever since I was 4 years old, I have been captivated by the thrill of going fast and the profession of motorsport. It all began when I got my first go-kart at about 6 years old. That ignited my passion and has grown stronger with me. From those humble beginnings, I’ve steadily advanced, transitioning from small Honda clone-powered engines to the more powerful Lo206 Briggs and Stratton race karts, all the way through 120cc shifter karts to real racing. Hollback Racing competed in the 2020-2023 championships at Wilmington Raceway Park. We started the 2020 season by only scoring 10 points in one race. Moving to this year, where we scored 611 points, making us the 2023 championship winner and the all-around driver of the year.
This was made possible by long nights with Albert, my Chief Engineer, wrenching and adjusting every bolt, to the thousands of hours of practice. This could not have happened without him and the support of my sponsors. I personally funded the team by working 70-hour weeks over the past summer and working around my school schedule in the winter. We have received support along the way from Sport Stitch Embroidery, Robbie’s Hobbies, Instant Signs, and Team Holowici. Without them, we could not have been your 2023 driver champions.
After winning the championship, this opened up doors, now leading into my 2024 season. I secured a spot on a team to race a USA Legends car in the INEX series of racing. We are now looking for more sponsors to help us through this new season of race racing. We have done several practice days in the car and are getting better and better each time. We have an endurance race in the Lemons series with a Ford Probe turned into a race car. This winter, the team plans to see some results.
